DID YOU KNOW TREES HAVE LEAVES
So in fifth grade my grades started falling drastically right after the seating chart changed and I was nearer to the back of the classroom instead of the front, which is where I liked to sit. It was brought up during a parent-teacher conference, and I really had no idea why they were harassing me about it & I was getting very upset! Because fifth grade me didn’t like to be harassed. So I said, “Well it would help if I could see the board!”
And that’s when I got my eyes checked, and received my first pair of glasses!
And once I stepped outside with those glasses on my face, those were the first words I said. “OH MY GOSH, MOM, LOOK! I CAN SEE THE LEAVES! I COULD NEVER SEE THE LEAVES BEFORE, WOW THEY LOOK SO PRETTY!” and just everything was new and wonderful!
Sadly, my vision has been getting progressively worse since then. I’m inching closer and closer to the legally blind marker…
My exact reaction to my new glasses.
Laughing so hard because, when I got my glasses I actually walked out and saw LEAVES EVERYWHERE IN DETAIL.
That’s how I was when I got my glasses! “Holy shit I can see EVERY SINGLE DETAIL!!!!” “Moooom!!!! I can see the that...
YOU CAN ACTUALLY READ STREET SIGNS??
reblogging yet again because new glasses means new things to see. :3
