This picture was taken… sometime after I… caught my hair on fire…
I had my candle in one hand and my camera in the other. I went to hold my camera with both hands and looked through the lens & sort of tilted my head trying to get a good angle, and then Rachel looks at me and calmly says, “Oh hey DG, your hair’s on fire,” in the same tone of voice that someone might say, “Hey, nice scarf.” I freaked out, of course, and started swatting at my head with wild abandon.
The tuft has grown out a bit, but I still part my hair on the opposite side to hide the bare patch.
